Yogi Support Circle is a place where you can share what you’ve been struggling with and receive encouragement and support from your fellow yogis. Offering a yogic and mindful approach to offering support, we welcome everyone to join the circle.

In these difficult times, it is important to care for our mental, emotional and physical health so we can continue to feel our best and be our best to overcome the challenges we face. All ages and abilities are encouraged to join and get some stress relief!

This workshop will break down the fundamentals of yoga so that you can get the most out of your practice. This workshop will include meditation, breathing and yoga movement to reduce stress and improve overall health and wellbeing.

Mindfulness in the Classroom

Designed for parents teaching at home and teachers teaching virtually, to incorporate Mindfulness into Teaching to support kids and how they learn, how to check-in with kids virtually and different practices teachers and parents can model for them. 

This workshop will introduce teachers to habits and practices of mindfulness, including yoga asana, pranayama, and meditation that they can incorporate into their classrooms. With numerous studies citing the beneficial effects of mindfulness for students, this workshop aims to dispel any doubt about the difficulty of incorporating mindfulness. In this workshop, participants will review current literature on mindfulness in school and practice pranayam (breathing), meditation, and asana (movement) suitable for the classroom. Participants will experience yoga in their bodies and minds in order to better understand the experiences of their students.

Led by Kaitlin Moran a government studies teacher and a yoga teacher. She has experience teaching yoga in schools and in studios and she is currently earning her second Masters in Education from Harvard University.

Strength and Conditioning for Yogis with Henry Morales

In this workshop you will learn about some of the foundational categories of movement that help support, prevent injury and build strength for various yoga poses.

We will teach you how to apply the functional strength building movements to recruit muscles from the core to the extremities. The categories of movement reviewed will include: squats, upper body and deadlift. In addition, the workshop will review the benefits of CrossFit as a core strength and conditioning program. A brief beginner friendly workout will be included at the end of the workshop.

Andrea Douglass, PhD was first introduced to kundalini yoga while pursuing a degree in music performance in Los Angeles in 2001. She was searching for a way to find more space and comfort in her body while playing music. She noticed that every time she walked out of a kundalini yoga class she felt transformed on an inner level. When she moved back to the Boston area in 2006 she completed the Level 1 (200 hour) training at the Guru Ram Das Ashram in Millis, MA. In 2019 Andrea completed the Level 2 module entitled “Vitality and Stress” in 2018.

Andrea is an Associate Lecturer at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. She also teaches private flute and violin lessons at the Waldorf School of Lexington. Otherwise she is busy keeping up with her two active children.

Hilary Bent-Mullings | Yoga Teacher/Reiki Master/Ayurvedic Professional
Hilary is first and foremost an eternal student of life, yoga, meditation, and holistic healing systems. She is overjoyed to have found her path helping others gain better balance and health through yoga, meditation, energy healing and Ayurveda.

She has completed her yoga trainings at Back Bay Yoga in Boston and at Yoga of Energy Flow. Meeting students where they are at physically and mentally is very important to her. Hilary is a NAMA certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor, having studied at both Kripalu and the Jiva Institute in India. She is also a Thai Yoga Massage and Reiki Practitioner.

Hilary strongly believes that yoga is something that can be practiced both on and off the mat. Bringing a sense of humor and open mind is part of her daily practice in life. Her hope is to help others feel at home and connected within themselves, which is something these ancient healing modalities have given to her.

Hannah Siglin | singer/songwriter
Coming from an education in classical guitar and a deep love of folk music, Hannah’s playing blends finger-style guitar with dynamic songwriting to accompany practice through sweaty sun salutations to the stillness of savasana. A native of Spokane, Washington, Hannah moved to Boston in 2015 to study at Berklee College of Music and just graduated this past spring. She believes that music and yoga are healing arts, and the combined power of the two is greater than the sum of its parts!
